Returning to Employee Wellness

Have you participated in Weber State University Employee Wellness before? Here’s a refresher on some of the programs and benefits Employee Wellness offers.

Many program components are managed in the WellSteps platform.

Bonus Program

This program is available to employees and their spouses that are covered under one of Weber State’s PEHP insurance plans.

Once you complete a personal health assessment, a biometric screening and complete an additional health activity, you will receive a one-time $300 bonus.

Rewards Program

This program is available to all benefits-eligible employees and their spouses. Through this program, you are rewarded for completing various healthy activities.

Participants can earn up to $200 per year. Payments are made once at the end of the calendar year.

Released Wellness Time

Staff employees can use up to 3 hours each week to participate in wellness activities, such as those sponsored by Employee Wellness or Campus Recreation, health or wellness-related academic classes, certain individual or group activities on campus and library reading.

You’ll need to complete two forms and renew them each year to use Released Wellness Time.

Early Retirees

Early retirees who are still taking medical benefits from Weber State can continue to participate in all Employee Wellness activities and events including the Rewards and Bonus programs.

After you retire, look for an email from benefits@weber.edu inquiring if you would like to retain your Employee Wellness account access.
