Employee Wellness Coaching
Employee Wellness offers personalized coaching in a variety of areas.
-
Wellness Coaching
Wellness coaching is intended to be used as a goal-setting tool to help you adjust to your current work situation. Participants can meet with a coach to explore ways to improve in the areas of exercise, nutrition, sleep and time management.
Each week you will meet with your coach online to review how your week went, if you accomplished your goal and to develop a new goal.
Initial sessions will last approximately 30-45 minutes and subsequent sessions will last approximately 30 minutes.
At this time, employees will be able to complete six weeks of coaching, with one session each week. To earn credit for the Wellness Pays Rewards program, employees must complete at least five sessions during the semester.
Employee Wellness currently has two wellness coaches. Use the following form to request wellness coaching. Your wellness coach will then email your calendar invites for the duration of the semester.

Nutritional Coaching
Nutritional Coaching is a six-week wellness coaching program designed to help employees make small, sustainable dietary changes that align with MyPlate.gov guidelines. Through weekly online sessions, participants will work one-on-one with a coach to set achievable nutrition goals, track progress and adjust strategies to fit their unique work and lifestyle demands.
Initial sessions last 30-45 minutes, with subsequent 30-minute check-ins to review progress and set new goals. This program provides personalized support in improving eating habits, meal planning, and overall nutrition. Employees who complete at least five sessions during the semester will earn credit for the Wellness Pays Rewards program.

Personal Training
All salaried employees are eligible for six personal training sessions and one intake session.
Personal training through Employee Wellness is intended to provide you with detailed instruction and hands-on practice with an exercise program.
After you request personal training, you will fill out a questionnaire and health history form that a trainer will review with you during your initial session.
You and the trainer will establish your training goals, and confirm and schedule the rest of your personal training appointments. Fitness testing and one rep max testing during this session may be completed at the discretion of the trainer.
Over the next six sessions, you will meet with your trainer and execute your exercise program. These sessions will occur once a week for six consecutive weeks and may include resistance training, bodyweight training, cardio, flexibility and homework.
Sessions will last approximately 45 minutes. At this time, Employee Wellness has only one personal trainer and very limited availability.
Use the following form to request personal training through Employee Wellness. Your trainer will email you calendar invites when a time slot has opened.
