Body Composition Testing
Employees have two options for body composition testing, which measures how much fat and lean tissue is in your body.
Employees can come by the Employee Wellness office (located in Annex 29 at 3650 Taylor Ave., Ogden, UT) and use the specialized body composition scale that gives you quick and accurate results.
Employees can also use the Bod Pod, which is in the Wildcat Center as part of the Human Performance Lab.
The Bod Pod is an egg-shaped chamber that calculates your body density and more by measuring your body’s mass and volume. Employee Wellness has the privilege to provide free Bod Pod testing to employees, and must be scheduled using the following link: Bod Pod Scheduling.
All other types of testing must go through the Human Performance Lab and will have an associated fee.
The HP Lab provides various fitness tests to Weber State University students, employees, alumni, and community members. Testing opportunities are subject to lab staff availability. The HP Lab website has up-to-date information about available testing and associated pricing.
