Wellness Pays Rewards Program

The Wellness Pays Rewards Program is an incentive program provided by Weber State University Employee Wellness for salaried employees designed to reward participation in healthy activities.

By having regular preventive care, being physically active and engaging in other healthy behaviors, you can improve or maintain your wellness and help prevent chronic disease.

Each activity you complete will earn you points. A salaried employee will earn points that can be cashed in for up to $200 per calendar year, Jan. 1-Dec. 31. Spouse prizes include various items, but we cannot provide spouses cash for this program.

Participants can earn points when they complete activities including:

  • Preventative exams
  • Keeping an exercise log
  • Reading wellness-related books
  • Attending Employee Wellness classes

The Rewards Program Menu has specific information about what’s required to complete each wellness-related activity and how to earn points towards the Rewards Program.

How to Submit Rewards Program Activities

Program participants need to submit verification of completed activities to earn points towards the Rewards Program.

  1. Log on to your Employee Wellness account.
  2. Locate the Rewards icon at the top of the screen.
  3. Select the current month.
  4. Identify the activity you completed and follow the submission prompt.

You must submit activities within 60 days of completion. Your Employee Wellness account will not allow you to submit activities that are more than two months past.

Employee Wellness utilizes a third-party platform called WellSteps to manage the program. If you have not received an email with an invitation to participate in the program, please email wellness@weber.edu to set up your account.
