Released Wellness Time
Staff employees may have released time from work to participate in wellness activities a maximum of 3 hours per week (not to exceed 1 hour per day). You’ll need to complete two forms and renew them each year to use released wellness time.
Approved activities include those sponsored by Employee Wellness or Campus Recreation, health or wellness-related academic classes, certain individual or group activities on campus and library reading.
Complete the Following Steps:
- Log on to your Employee Wellness account.
- Find the Released Wellness Time category, located within the Rewards tab.
- Download the Released Wellness Time Consent Agreement.
- Upload the completed Released Wellness Time Consent Agreement.
- Employee and supervisor complete the Released Wellness Time Supervisor/Employee Agreement together.
- Upload the completed Released Wellness Time Supervisor/Employee Agreement.
- Repeat the process every year.
Released Wellness Time Approved Activities
The following activities are approved for Released Wellness Time.
Activities not appearing on this list must be submitted to the Employee Wellness Coordinator at wellness@weber.edu for approval. The employee’s immediate supervisor must agree with any approvals.
