HIEE Designated Programs
Being a mentor or mentee may count as a high impact educational experience (HIEE)? The MENT attribute is designated for peer mentoring and tutoring co-curricular, non-credit experiences. Faculty and staff mentors help students with career and personal development by teaching and sharing experiences.

CSBS Mentors help CSBS students navigate Weber State. We're in the Student Center in Lindquist Hall (LH), room 209. Stop by to ask questions, schedule an appointment, study, play games, hang out, make new friends, or grab a snack.

Emerging Leaders (EL) Mentors
HIEE Designated
Emerging Leaders Mentors assist EL participants in discovering and exploring leadership concepts and opportunities available throughout campus and the surrounding community. Mentors help mentees set leadership goals and follow up with goal attainment.

First Year Experience (FYE) Peer Mentors
HIEE Designated
FYE Peer Mentors are experienced students who help new students in the Foundations of College Success course (FYE 1105) successfully adjust to college academically and socially. They inform students of university events and resources, facilitate class discussions, present short lessons, and help create a learning community.

HIEE Ambassadors are students who work with a HIEE area (like mentoring, undergraduate research, etc.) to recruit, onboard, and support students as they work through the Wildcat Advantage program and/or the HIEEs Pay program.

Living Learning Communities
Weber State Housing and Residence Life offers four themed Living Learning Communities with peer mentors: eSports, First Year Experience (FYE), and Outdoor Adventure.

Mentoring Alumni & Scholarship Program (MAPS)
HIEE Designated
MAPS is an opportunity for WSU sophomores, juniors, and seniors to be placed with a mentor to meet monthly from August through April and receive up to $2,000 in MAPS scholarship funds.
