Community Involvement Center

The Community Involvement Center (CIC) at Weber State University promotes civic participation by combining academic learning and community service.

A resource for students, faculty, staff and community partners, the center offers opportunities to enhance educational experiences, supplement classroom instruction, put theories into practice and support community needs.

Located in the Shepherd Union, Room 327, the CIC serves as a clearinghouse for:

  • Volunteer programs
  • Faculty development in community-based research and service-learning
  • Funding sources for outreach programs
  • Connecting the community with resources on campus and vice versa
  • Student scholarship opportunities
