Spring Break Expedition - San Diego, CA
| What | Weber State University's Community Involvement Center will be taking a group of WSU students to San Diego, California, to assist local organizations in sustainable service efforts. This will be an excellent opportunity to partake of California's scenery, as well as contribute to the cause through meaningful and needed service. Our group will assist in studying US-Mexico relations and transborder issues, learn of social justice and environmental justice efforts, working with underprivileged children, learning about border patrol policies and procedures, delivering needed humanitarian supplies and assisting the community with group gardening. Althouth this is a service-oriented trip, there will be free-time opportunities to explore the city, museums and local parks. |

| Dates | March 11th - March 17th, 2012 - We'll leave Sunday morning and arrive home Saturday afternoon. |
| Cost |
$250 per person (non-refundable). Payment instructions will be given to you after we receive your application and you have been accepted to travel with this service group. This cost covers transportation costs, housing, all meals, as well as the service activities. Any additional food and/or activities will be at the participant's expense. |

Pre-Trip Meeting - |
There is a mandatory meeting on March 8, 2012 in SU 327 at 1:30 PM. This meeting is an opportunity for participants to ask questions, get information, and give some input in possible extra activities, fill out necessary paperwork and waivers and meet the stellar group of students going. |
