Mentor/Tutor Training | |||||||||

Overview The purpose of this training is to better prepare students who have a desire to mentor and tutor throughout the community. It will give students the basic knowledge needed to be an effective mentor and/or tutor while informing them of their responsibilities and rights in that role. Below is an outline of the steps involved to successfully complete the online mentor/tutor training. Step 1: Sign in Step 2: Review modules and answer review questions (links to modules on right) Step 3: Complete a brief survey Step 4: Visit CIC (SU 327) for training certificate and site placement instructions You may begin by clicking on Sign in on step 1. Step 1: Sign in Step 2: Review modules and answer review questions Please review the contents of each module thoroughly. At the end of every module there will be a link to a series of review questions you will need to complete. After clicking on the review question link you will be asked to put in a username and password. This is the same information you use to log into the eWeber portal. Each set of review questions will need to be completed with an 85% or better. You may retake the review questions if you do not meet this requirement on your first try. Step 3: Complete brief survey Below is a link to a brief survey about the modules. We would appreciate your honest feedback. Step 4: Visit CIC (SU 327) for completion certificate and site placement instructions Please stop by the Community Involvement Center in SU 327 to get your paper certificate of mentor/tutor training completion. Also, at this time you will be given site placement instructions and/or additional information. We appreciate all that you do and look forward to meeting you. |
