CIC Mission
The Community Involvement Center represents an intentional and strategic partnership between Academic Affairs and Students Affairs to facilitate a civically engaged experience for Weber State University students. The mission of the center is to engage students and faculty members in a process which combines community service and academic learning in order to promote civic participation, build community capacity, and enhance the education process. The center will act as a clearinghouse of resources and referrals on community agencies, service opportunities, service learning, community-based research, and the AmeriCorps Education Award program.
