High impact educational experiences (HIEEs) promote knowledge and skill development that employers, graduate and postgraduate programs highly seek. Completing leadership activities identified as HIEEs will help you along your path in the Wildcat Advantage program and help you prepare for leadership roles in your future endeavors.

The Emerging Leaders Program is available for students new to the university, particularly in their first or second year here.

Organization Officer

Become an officer within a club or organization on campus. Assist that group in accomplishing shared vision and goals.

Leadership Conference

Participate in the annual LEAD Weber Conference to identify how you have or will change your leadership style because of conference attendance.

Advisory Committee

The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) comprises student-athlete representatives from each school sponsored team to function as leaders on their teams and within the athletic department.

Need help determining which HIEE is best for you?

A Student Leadership Development Series, a semester-long class, is also available. Practice leadership skills while participating in the series and learn how to apply the lessons to their leadership roles and current events.
