ABOUT

Rachel Child is a Human Resources Management instructor in the Business Administration & Marketing Department. She has been at Weber State since 2020  as an adjunct faculty member and SHRM Student Chapter Advisor, and became a full-time instructor in 2023. Her background includes HR positions at such companies as FedEx Supply Chain, Miller Consulting, and Marketstar, as well as extensive consulting and entrepreneurial work. She is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), and serves as a volunteer leader for SHRM on both the Utah SHRM board and the local SHRM Chapter,   the Northern Utah Human Resources Association (NUHRA).   Now, as a WSU instructor and SHRM Student Chapter Advisor, Rachel's passion is helping to connect students to resources, individuals, and organizations that will further their knowledge, networks, and their future careers.
