ABOUT


Seokwoo Song joined the Weber State University faculty in 2007. He serves as chair of the Department of Supply Chain & Management Information Systems and is a professor of management information systems at the Goddard School of Business & Economics. 

Song holds a PhD in management information systems with a minor in computer science from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.

He teaches a variety of information systems and technologies courses in the Goddard School, such as Software Development, E-business Infrastructure and Web Development, Enterprise Software Development, Information Security and Senior Practicum.

Song’s research is cross-disciplinary in nature, focusing on knowledge management, social network analysis, information extraction and information systems implementation. His research has been published in prestigious academic journals, including Communications of the ACMDATA BASE for Advances in Information Systems and Journal of Knowledge Management, and included in a variety of academic and professional conferences.
