DATA ANALYTICS certificate

Students earning a Data Analytics Certificate will become knowledgeable about Python, SQL and data visualization techniques using Tableau and PowerBI. In addition, students will learn data wrangling and machine learning techniques. This certificate is stackable with other credentials as it can be completed as a stand-alone certificate, as a part of the Data Analytics Minor Program, and will earn students credit towards several different B.S. degrees from the Goddard School of Business & Economics. Certificate requires 10 credit hours over two semesters.

  • WHO CAN APPLY? The certificate can be completed as a part of any Goddard School of Business and Economics degree or as a stand-alone certificate.
    • NOTE: This certificate is designed for those who may or may not have technical backgrounds or experience with data analytics
  • DELIVERY: The courses will be conducted in 16 week semesters. Three courses will be in person, one will be virtual.
  • PREREQUISITES: Applicants must have successfully completed MATH 1040 or QUAN 2600 prior. Descriptions are below. Basic computer competency is required.
  • GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Students must complete all program courses with a grade of “C-” or higher. 
  • CREDIT HOURS: 10 total credit hours. Three courses are 3 credits, one course is 1 credit. The following is a list of the required courses:
