“The small class sizes at the Goddard School of Business offer the opportunity for students to build relationships with their professors and classmates! Some of my fondest memories during my time at Weber State are collaborating with the Goddard faculty at an individual level.”
WHY WEBER STATE?
After several years of hard work building a career in Cosmetology, I felt the desire to pursue higher education in hopes for a career change. I was drawn to Weber State because of the accessibility it provides its student body, and the affordability of tuition.
As I was pursuing a major career change, it was incredibly important to me to find a lucrative and stable career option. While I was considering several different academic paths, accounting seemed to fulfill both my personal interests and desire for a promising career.

There are so many professors at Goddard that have made such an impact on my life that I don't know how I could possibly name just one.
Valerie Chambers taught me to challenge myself, and that the result of hard work will pay off in the end.
Matt Gnagey taught me to push myself outside of my comfort zone, and to always be kind.
Gavin Roberts taught me to think outside the box, and not to take life too seriously.
David Malone taught me that I am far more capable than I think I am.
Take advantage of the resources available to you! The professors at the Goddard School want you to succeed and will help you along the way, so do not be afraid to ask for help.
I am working as an Accounting & Financial Analyst at a local tech company called Aumni. I hope to have the opportunity to pursue a Master's of Accounting, successfully pass the CPA exam, and to one day attain the role of a Controller!
