Online
A new Wellness In 30 webinar will not be added in September. Some participants were not able to view the April and August Wellness In 30 webinars. These two webinars will be reloaded to the system.
Campaigns
Veggie Up
August 18 - September 25
This month, learn more about the importance of vegetables. You will be challenged to chop up and eat vegetables in a variety of ways during each week of the campaign. Some of the weekly tasks include eating at a restaurant with vegetable-heavy dishes, locating a nearby Farmer’s Market, and adding more vegetables into your life!
No need to register.
Semester Programs
Group Exercise Classes
September 6 - December 15
Enjoy group exercise classes in the company of your fellow colleagues. These classes are offered exclusively to faculty, staff, spouses, and retirees. Classes will be offered in a hybrid format; feel free to attend in person or via Zoom.
You may elect to register for one format for $25, or both formats for $45. Attend 75% of classes this semester and earn points through the Wellness Pays Rewards program.
New for Fall Semester 2022:
- Pay the course fee and email the receipt to wellness@weber.edu (https://secure.touchnet.com/C20249_ustores/web/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCTID=1682)
- You will be automatically enrolled in the appropriate Training Tracker course (Yoga: 800-16, Pilates: 800-19)
- Classes with the correct Zoom link will be added to your Google calendar for the remainder of the semester
Weight Management Support Group
Tuesdays, September 20 - December 6
Join others on campus who would like to learn more about gaining weight, losing weight, or maintaining weight. This group will meet once a week and will discuss various ways to incorporate healthy eating and exercise habits, stress management techniques, and sleep hygiene. Come prepared to contribute as this will be an informal, support/discussion group with topics facilitated. Fall semester meetings will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesdays and last 20-30 minutes. Classes will be offered via Zoom.
