Take the semester challenge and join us at the 3rd Annual Employee Trail Fun Run in May

Ensuring that you include regular cardiovascular exercise can have many important health benefits. When your body can utilize oxygen during exercise, your heart, lungs and blood vessels come more efficient. This can help you to feel more energized throughout the day!

Other benefits include:

  • Reduce pain and stiffness associated with arthritis

This semester, Employee Wellness challenges you to complete the Couch to 5K training program. If you are not currently running or jogging, this program will gradually work you into jogging 3 miles continuously.

If you are already running or jogging, we have you covered! Download the Couch to 10K training program instead.

You can then put your newly acquired skills to practice by participating in the 3rd Annual Employee Wellness Fun Trial Run on Friday, May 3rd. This enjoyable trail run takes place above campus on the WSU Exercise Trail. Come enjoy the beautiful scenery and the company of your fellow colleagues.

You may complete this challenge any time during the 2019 calendar year. Tracking sheets returned to Employee Wellness after the due date will not accrue points to the Wellness Store, but may be used towards the Wellness Pays Rewards Program.
