Intermountain Engineering, Technology, and Computing (i-ETC) Conference 2026.
The i-ETC 2026 Conference will be held May 8–9, 2026, in person at Brigham Young University. This annual conference is organized in collaboration with local and regional universities Brigham Young University, Utah Valley University, Utah State University, Weber State University, Idaho State University, Montana State University, and regional technology industry partners along the Silicon Slopes. The IEEE is the technical sponsor.
The conference provides a valuable forum for students, faculty, and industry professionals to share research, explore best practices, and connect around engineering, technology, and computing.

Position Overview
Henry Hill Oil is seeking a highly responsible and detail-oriented SCADA Control Room tech to join our Kaysville, UT team. This role is central to our operations and directly supports safe, efficient, and compliant water-handling services. The Control Room Operator will monitor system performance, support field operations, maintain accurate reporting, and ensure that all SWD (Salt Water Disposal) sites and pipeline systems meet the company’s operational standards.
Our number one goal is taking water safely and efficiently, and this position plays a critical role in achieving that mission.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Monitoring & Oversight
Ensure all operators complete daily walkthrough sheets 100% accurately and on time.
Monitor, track, and trend system data including:
Pipeline flows
Temperatures
PSI
Downhole injection performance
Chemical usage
Truck traffic
Maintain full understanding of the daily reports and ensure accurate flow tracking across the pipeline system.
Monitor cameras and ensure all facilities are operating safely and within compliance.
Communication & Coordination
Communicate daily with the Lead Operator and team members to stay aligned on operational priorities.
Provide a Daily Report Email, including all necessary team members.
Participate in Tuesday calls and hold a weekly meeting with all control room and field staff.
Work directly with pipeline and field personnel to ensure inspections, maintenance, and operational tasks are completed correctly.
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers—truckers, pumpers, and company representatives.
Maintain strong teamwork, helping solve problems collectively rather than passing them forward.
Planning, Scheduling & Efficiency
Assist in scheduling SWD operators and optimizing workload distribution.
Plan operator and field routing to minimize miles driven and reduce unnecessary truck wear.
Ensure all pump set points and flows are optimized for maximum operational efficiency.
Track and schedule:
Truck maintenance
SWD maintenance
MIT deadlines for SWDs and injection lines
Filter sock bin pickups
Maintenance & Work Order Management
Build, issue, and track work orders; ensure all items are completed in a timely manner.
Track all maintenance activities and build out longer-term maintenance plans for SWD facilities.
Monitor oil levels and coordinate oil load scheduling.
Order consumables, PPE, snacks, filter socks, and other needed supplies.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain 100% complete, detailed daily and weekly handoff notes.
Log issues immediately—never delay reporting or communication.
Document all operational trends and ensure data accuracy for management reviews.
Ensure all sites under your oversight meet Henry Hill Oil’s highest operational standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to analyze system data and identify operational trends or problems.
High level of accountability, integrity, and situational awareness.
Ability to work independently during long periods but still function as part of a tight-knit team.
Comfortable with technology, monitoring software, and reporting tools.
Experience in oilfield, SWD, pipeline, or control room operations preferred but not required.
Work Environment
This is a Control Room–based role combining computer monitoring, dispatch-style coordination, and occasional field communication. Operators work a 7-on / 7-off schedule, providing 24/7 coverage and support to field operations.

The purpose of Ken Garff Esports and its various technology initiatives is to enhance and enrich
scholastic experiences through and beyond gaming.
The Ken Garff Esports Summer Tech Track program is designed to empower junior high and
high school students through hands-on learning experiences in cutting-edge technology fields.
Over the course of three weeks, students explore topics such as cybersecurity, game
development, and AI fundamentals while preparing for future academic and career success.
We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Summer Tech Track
Mentors. In this role, you’ll inspire and guide students as they dive into a technology-focused
curriculum. You’ll work to support the instructor in creating a positive and engaging learning
environment while helping students develop critical skills for their futures.
Responsibilities:
● Assist the Tech Track instructor with classroom activities to ensure a productive and inclusive environment
● Support the delivery of engaging lessons and help to facilitate hands-on learning experiences in:
○ Cybersecurity
○ Game Development
○ AI fundamentals
● Support students in navigating the curriculum, troubleshooting challenges, and completing coursework
● Motivate students to explore and consider technology-related college and career opportunities
● Coordinate with course instructor on supporting participating students through course completion
● Attend all dates of course, or provide a trained substitute
Qualifications:
● Foundational knowledge of computer science and tech concepts (preferred)
