School Lunch Program

Weber State University Charter Academy partners with the Melba S. Lehner Children’s School to provide an optional daily lunch program for our students. Lunches include a variety of kid-friendly entrées, fruits, vegetables, and snacks designed to provide students with simple, balanced meal options during the school day.

Ordering Lunch

WSU Charter Academy and the Children’s School use the same menu and food supplier. Because meals are ordered together in advance, families who would like their child to participate in the school lunch program must select meals ahead of time.

Lunch orders are submitted twice each semester.

First Lunch Order Deadline: August 17

For our first ordering period, families must submit their child’s lunch selections by August 17.

Please select the days your child will eat school lunch for the upcoming ordering period. 

Important Information

Because meals are purchased in advance based on family selections:

• If you order a school lunch for your child, you are responsible for the cost of that meal, even if your child later chooses to bring a lunch from home or does not eat the ordered meal.
• Students are always welcome to bring lunch from home instead of participating in the school lunch program.
• Families do not need to order school lunch every day. You may select only the days and meals that work best for your family.
• Please submit selections by each posted deadline so we can include your child’s meals in our school order.

Lunch Payment

Families participating in the lunch program may choose to pay weekly or monthly. Online payment options are available for convenience.
