8:30–8:45 | STEM Bins & Morning Exploration
Students begin the day with hands-on STEM bins that encourage problem-solving, creativity, and gentle collaboration while settling into the classroom.
8:45–9:30 | Phonics & Reading Foundations
Through direct instruction and small-group practice, students build early reading skills such as letter sounds, blending, and word recognition.
9:30–9:45 | Math Groups
Students work in small groups to practice number sense, counting, and early math strategies at their individual learning level.
9:45–10:00 | Structured Play & Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)
This guided play time helps children build self-regulation, cooperation, and emotional awareness.
10:00–10:30 | ELA Comprehension
Students listen to and discuss stories, building vocabulary, comprehension, and thinking skills through engaging read-alouds and discussions.
10:30–11:00 | Writing Workshop
Children practice writing through drawing, labeling, and sentence work appropriate to their developmental level.
11:00–11:30 | Math Instruction & Practice
Whole-group instruction and hands-on activities help students strengthen math understanding and problem-solving skills.
11:45–12:15 | Lunch & Recess
Students enjoy time to eat, play, and recharge with peers.
12:15–12:30 | Calendar & Daily Review
This time builds number sense, routines, and classroom community through calendar activities and daily reflection.
12:30–1:15 | Learning Labs & Intervention
Students receive targeted support or enrichment in small groups to meet individual learning needs.
1:15–1:45 | Science & Social Studies
Students explore the world around them through inquiry, hands-on projects, and age-appropriate discussions.

Students continue building emotional awareness, cooperation, and classroom community.
2:15–2:45 | Social Skills
