Honors Ambassadors

Position Description

Honors Program Ambassadors serve as student leaders who represent the Weber State University Honors Program through outreach, engagement, and community building. They help connect students to Honors opportunities, support events, and contribute to a welcoming and inclusive Honors community.

Ambassadors act as a bridge between students and the Honors Program by sharing their experiences, supporting programming, and helping promote Honors across campus.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Weber State University student in good academic standing
• Must be enrolled in the Honors Program
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfort with public speaking and peer engagement
• Creativity, reliability, and enthusiasm for student engagement
• Interest in outreach, leadership, or social media content creation

Time Commitment & Compensation

5–10 hours per week (flexible depending on events and outreach needs)
Occasional evening or weekend events
$15/hour compensation
