The First-Generation Club is for all students on campus but is intended to meet the needs of students whose parents have not completed a bachelor's degree. The first-gen club provides opportunities for service, leadership, information on campus resources and social activities.
Mission Statement: First-Generation Club strives to create a community of first generation students, but not limited to, and facilitate opportunities for recreation, community service, and networking.
First-Generation Faculty & Staff Group
We are inviting interested faculty and staff to participate in a first generation faculty and staff group. In the fall of 2017, we held a series of three focus groups to discuss the formation of this group and future events. We invite anyone who identifies as a first generation student themselves or feels strongly about supporting first generation students.
