Crisis Resources
Welcome to the WSU Counseling and Psychological Services Center. We provide short-term, goal-oriented mental health services to promote student well-being and academic success. Our team is here to support students through challenging moments to help you succeed.
Counseling and Psychological Services Center Same-day Crisis Intervention Services
Counseling and Psychological Services Center:
- 8 a.m. to Noon and 1 to 4 p.m.
- Monday through Friday
- Student Services Center, Room 208
- 801-626-6406
- Campus Map
Crisis Interventions Are:
- Are brief meetings to help students manage relevant stressors.
- Are used to assess suicide risk and make appropriate referrals, as needed.
- Are not a space to discuss mental health concerns in-depth.
- Are not a substitute for ongoing counseling, which may be recommended during your meeting.
- Are not guaranteed. For example, if multiple students arrive at the same time, due to counselor availability, there will likely be wait times or students will be provided with community resources. Students arriving at the end of the service day (i.e., 4 p.m.) will be given crisis/after-hours resources.
