Full Moon Snowshoe

Join us for a full moon snowshoe hike! Outdoor Program staff will lead you on a snowshoe hike under the full moon. Enjoy a fun, beginner-friendly evening on the snow and experience the trail in an unforgettable way.

Full Moon Snowshoe: February 1, 2026 | 6-10 p.m.

WSU Student: $20 | WSU Faculty/Staff: $25  | $30 General Public


Skill Level: Beginner 
Fitness Level: Moderate
Age: 18+


Transportation: Transportation can be provided upon request - others will plan to meet at the trailhead

Provided: Snowshoes and any needed day pass for site access will be provided by the Outdoor Program

Gear You Need to Bring: Please bring your own day pack, sturdy winter boots, food, water, appropriate layers***, and sun protection

***Dressing in appropriate layers is essential for comfort and safety during high output aerobic winter activities.  Be sure to wear wool or synthetic fabrics only (NO COTTON).  You should have a light wicking base-layer (long johns/janes), a light windproof layer (soft shell or windbreaker), a warm insulating layer (fleece, wool or puffy jacket), and depending on the forecast, a sturdy shell (rain jacket) is appropriate.  Heavy ski jackets are NOT recommended.
