Davis Tutoring & Writing Center
At the Davis Tutoring & Writing Center, we promote student academic through free tutoring and provide a great place to study and receive learning support for all student populations. Tutoring is free for all students, including Concurrent Enrollment.
The Davis Tutoring & Writing Center is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m on Fridays in Building D2, Room 214 on the Davis Campus. Please see the schedule below for hours when tutors are available.
Tutoring begins for Fall semester on Aug. 24th.
Holiday closure dates: Sept 7, Oct. 9, and Nov. 26 - 27.
Subjects Tutored
Our tutors can work with you online or in person on any subject listed below. You can meet with a tutor during drop-in hours or by scheduling an appointment.
Tutoring Appointments
To schedule an appointment, use the Starfish application in your eWeber portal by looking at your Courses tab. Tutoring options for your course will show up. Schedule a tutoring appointment from or call the Davis Tutoring & Writing Center at 801-395-3569, or email dlc@weber.edu for the appointment availability. Register for recurring tutoring early in the semester. View the section below to see the subjects available for scheduling.
Tutoring for ANTH, BTNY, CHEM, HIST, HTHS, MICR, MLS, NUTR, PHYS, SOC, ZOOL, and World Languages is offered on the Ogden campus or virtually.
Tutoring for ACTG, BSAD, ECON, FIN, QUAN, MIS, MKTG, MGMT, and SCM is offered in the Business Tutoring Lab or virtually by emailing apptutoring@weber.edu.

Drop-In Online Tutoring Hours - Computer Science
A computer science tutor can work with you online. Virtual tutoring is available through Zoom. Additional virtual drop-in tutoring for math and physics is available with the Math Tutoring Center.

Schedule an Appointment With a Tutor
To view a tutor's schedule and create an appointment in Starfish, you must be logged into eWeber and you must be registered in a class relevant to the tutor's subject.
Appointments can be in-person or virtual over Zoom.

Bring the assignment description and your most recent draft (unless you're just brainstorming). We have printers and computers for digital projects.
We require meeting students face-to-face (in person or online) because the revising process is the best way to learn, and we encourage you to be fully engaged in it.
