ESOL Tutoring Program
Our academic conversation tutors are here to help you enhance your confidence in diverse English conversation skills through weekly discussions about course topics. Your tutor will also be an important connection and resource for you as you navigate Weber State and higher education in the United States. These tutors are only available to students enrolled in World Languages & Cultures (WLC) 1810 and 2810.
We will be closed on Oct. 17 and Nov. 27-28.
Make an Appointment with your Academic Conversation Tutor
You will receive a scheduling link from your WLC 1810 or 2810 instructor to schedule a 30-minute recurring appointment with your conversation partner. You will continuously meet with the same tutor on the same day and at the same time for the rest of the semester. The appointments will fill up quickly, so register early to get your first choice of day and time!
To schedule an appointment, use the link provided to you by your instructor. If you have questions, you can stop by the Ogden Tutoring Center in Tracy Hall (TY) 101, call the center at 801-626-7484, or email apptutoring@weber.edu.
Some appointments will be held in the Ogden Tutoring Center in TY 101. Other appointments will be held in the World Language Tutoring Lab in Elizabeth Hall (EH 244). Your scheduling confirmation will tell you in which room your appointments will be held.
