Hi friend! My name is Katarina Aikens but you can call me Kat! I love Weber State and I love my job as an Academic Peer Coach even more. I am originally from St. George and am still adjusting to the Ogden winter. My college experience has not been the piece of cake that the movies portrayed it to be. There have been many times in my life when I felt like I did not belong and that I just wanted a friend. I strive to be a friend and help others around me who are in that same boat. I am so excited to get the chance to meet with you and help you through this crazy hurricane we call college.

Hello! My name is Alexis, I'm an Academic Peer Coach, and my pronouns are she/her/s. I am a WSU alumnus with Bachelor's Degrees in Microbiology and Zoology. As a Coach, I love supporting students to discover new learning techniques and creating personalized study plans.

Rachel

Hello! My name is Rachael Carter. I am a senior in Microbiology and prefer she/her/s pronouns. I like being an academic coach because I get to help my peers figure out things I wish I had known when I started school. As a first generation student, much of how I learned to be successful in college came from my peers and I am excited to pay that forward.

Rachel

Hi! I'm Rachel! I love reading, hiking and road trips (especially to National Parks). I first started college fresh out of high school, many years ago. Now, I am a senior majoring in Communication. I am also a non-traditional student and have two kids (ages 5 and 2). As a result from my past experiences, I feel like I can relate well with others from all backgrounds and struggles. I am an academic peer coach because I love helping others live their own success stories.
