Eligibility & Requirements
The Honors Program offers two main pathways: Foundation Honors or Departmental Honors. Students who complete Foundation Honors can also pursue the advanced distinction of University Honors.

Pathways
Foundation Honors
This is the starting pathway for most students in the Honors Program.
Requirements:
10 credits of HNRS courses of your choice Complete the Honors Portfolio
These credits are taken gradually throughout your undergraduate degree.
University Honors
An advanced distinction earned after completing Foundation Honors.
Requirements:
Complete Foundation Honors +5 additional HNRS credits Complete the Honors Portfolio
Departmental Honors
Available to students majoring in areas with designated Departmental Honors contracts. Requirements vary by department but may include:

Departmental requirements are completed over the course of your undergraduate degree.
