To provide as much confidentiality as possible in college elections, the college office offers two options for faculty voters:
- You may respond to the e-mail ballot via e-mail. When you do so, the dean’s office student worker receives your ballot, checks your name off a master list, prints your ballot, and then cuts your name off the ballot.
- You may respond to the e-ballot by printing it out yourself and delivering your vote to the dean’s office in a sealed envelope. The dean’s office student worker will check your name off a master list and leave your ballot in its sealed envelope until it is time to count the ballots.
Once we reach the end of the voting period, the student worker collects all ballots and gives them to the dean’s administrative assistant, who, along with two available faculty or staff members, counts the ballots.
