Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

Prospective Students

The Master of Science in Nursing program offers professional advancement in two emphases: Nurse Educator and Nurse Leadership & Management. Graduates can apply the skills and knowledge learned in the program to academia and healthcare organizations.

The ACEN-accredited MSN Program is full-time and uses an innovative block-schedule format. It allows students to complete the program in three semesters. Courses are 100% online, except for a 90-hour residency arranged in the student’s community with the help of a clinical coordinator. The MSN program will provide the program of study for each emphasis upon acceptance into the program.

  • Cohort size: 24 students

Costs

Total Estimated Cost: $16,800.

  • Program costs include tuition, graduate student differential, and course fees. The costs are estimated and are determined each April for the following academic year. Refer to the Tuition and Fee Tables for detailed information on these costs.
  • Out-of-state graduate tuition waivers are available to students accepted into the program. Tuition waivers provide in-state tuition costs for out-of-state students.

  • The online application is available yearly from October 1 to March 17. The application deadline is March 17, 2026, by 11:59 pm.

Notification

After the Annie Taylor Dee School of Nursing Admissions & Advancement Committee has reviewed applications, the MSN Program will notify applicants of acceptance or declination.
