Associate of Applied Science in Automotive Service Technology (AAS)

The ASE Education Foundation accredits this program. Students gain a broad range of skills and knowledge essential for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining modern vehicles. Graduates can pursue careers as automotive technicians, service managers, warranty representatives, or specialists in emerging technologies in EVs and autonomous vehicles.

Track Options

  1. Independent Shop ATEP Track  (44 major credits)
    Covers a wide range of automotive service skills including: Braking systems, steering/suspension, electronics, hybrid & EV systems, engine performance, and shop practice
  2. Heavy Duty Truck Track (41 major credits)
    Focuses on systems specific to heavy-duty vehicles: Truck brakes, suspension, engines, drivetrains, electrical systems, and preventative maintenance
