Microsoft Copilot is an AI assistant integrated into Microsoft 365 applications like Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. It helps users draft documents, summarize emails, analyze data, and automate repetitive tasks, all within familiar Microsoft tools. Microsoft Copilot is designed to boost productivity by making everyday work faster, smarter, and more efficient.

Microsoft Copilot (Conditionally Approved for Use at Weber State University)

Microsoft Copilot is available to Weber State users through their Microsoft 365 accounts to assist with drafting, summarizing, and organizing documents, emails, and other content. 

Users can use Public Data and Non-Public Sensitive Data with Copilot accessed through your Microsoft 365 accounts.  Restricted Data should not be used with Microsoft Copilot. No WSU data should be used with other versions of Copilot until those versions are approved. All AI-generated content should be carefully reviewed and refined to ensure it meets quality, accuracy, and appropriateness standards before final use or distribution.
