The workshops will focus on the use of a game development tool to create video games. Attendees will receive hands-on instruction on how to create video games. At the end of the week, the games created by the participants will be judged with winners receiving prizes.
In 2008, the Utah State Board of Regents approved a computer science game development certificate offered at WSU. The certificate is available to students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science with an emphasis in software engineering. The WSU certificate is the only one of its kind offered in the state.
The summer game camp is a great introduction to video game programming, it could inspire you to study computer science! The gateway to more advanced video game programming!
