Whether you choose a major, minor or a bachelor of integrated studies (BIS) emphasis in psychology at WSU, you will better understand human behavior and prepare yourself for a career that involves working with people or studying them. WSU's psychology program is designed to teach the content of psychology and some skills and techniques in applying the concepts. Above and beyond their course work, Psychology students are involved in a range of activities including research (see list of 2010-2011 conference presentations by WSU Psychology students) and practicum experiences. A bachelor's degree in psychology can be your first step to graduate school, professional school, or a career in various fields.
