Office of Sponsored Projects & Technology Commercialization

The Office of Sponsored Projects & Technology Commercialization at Weber State promotes and maintains a research environment that fosters creativity, collaboration, and community. The office reviews and authorizes proposals for submission and interprets, negotiates, and accepts grants and contracts for sponsored projects funded by federal and state agencies, foundations, and other public and private sources.

The office oversees both pre-and post-award processes.

NEWS: Due to the current federal government shutdown, there may be temporary delays in certain federal processes. However, most research and grant activities will continue as scheduled, as long as they do not require direct support or involvement from federal personnel.

SmartGrant is a grants and contracts management software that Weber State University is implementing. The software has both pre- and post-award modules.
