Take 20-Plus Credits

Students may register for a maximum of 20 credit hours per semester without special permission. You may register for more than 20 credit hours per semester if you meet certain guidelines.

Students who have attained sophomore standing (30 or more semester credit hours) may petition to exceed the maximum registration, provided they meet the following GPA requirements:

  • Students with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better may petition to register for a maximum of 24 credit hours
  • Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better may petition to register for additional credit hours beyond 24 credits.

Costs: Between 12 – 18 credits is the same cost. Your tuition will increase with every credit over 18.
