Teaching Philosophy & Focus
My teaching focus at Weber State is introductory physics labs, where we get to play in the air-resistance abundant, friction-filled, "real-world" of introductory physics. I also teach Elementary Physics, a gen-ed course that is targeted at non-physics majors (and non-scientists!) that uses lots of demonstrations.

Research Areas of Interest
While I spend most of my time face-to-face with students in the physics labs, I am also working behind the scenes to continuously improve the lab-based learning experience by writing laboratory procedures/materials, researching new equipment, and fine-tuning experiments.
