Physics Open House
Currently, due to Covid-19, this event is postponed until further notice.
When able, we invite you to join us for demonstrations, presentations, and a whirl of interactive experiences for the entire family. We open our doors to the general public and share activities that range from whimsical to practical. Want to know if your jewelry is really made of silver or if your toy has lead in it? Ready to witness things levitating and glowing? Want to figure out the nature of light, the depths of our universe, or the subatomic forces of nature? This year we’re welcoming even more activities hosted by colleagues from all over the College of Science, so you can peer through microscopes, play with stream tables, tour the greenhouse, and much more! Come experience it all as you roam the Tracy Hall Science Center for an evening of fun and science.
Parking is available, and the event is FREE and open to the public.
