WSU Base Camp Orientation Experience
Looking for a unique orientation experience? Join the WSU Outdoor Program for a day of nearby adventures, camp games, and meet more of your fellow students. Lunch, equipment and transportation for all activities is included, and they're all beginner friendly!
This is a special experience being offered exclusively for students attending the Weber Welcome orientation on July 15.

Skill Level: Beginner-Intermediate

Activities & Schedule
Over the course of the day, you'll participate in two adventures, with a break for lunch. Select your preference for the following adventures during registration. Space in each adventure is limited, but we'll do our best to get you on your first choice!

Outdoor rock climbing at 9th St. climbing area

Indoor rock climbing at our Technical Training Center

Team building and activities at our Challenge Course

Hiking on nearby trails

Hang out at base camp! Play games such as corn hole, Kan Jam, Spike Ball, and more. Participate in an optional campus scavenger hunt.
Schedule:
8:30am: Check in
9am: Depart for morning activity
12pm: Return to OP, lunch and meet OP professional and student staff
1pm: Depart for afternoon activity
4pm: Return to OP, high-fives
4:30pm: Head home
