On-Campus Orientation Dates

 
Fall 2026 Orientation

All students are required to attend various mandatory orientation activities on August 18 and August 20. We also highly encourage all students to participate in all events.

June 24, 2026

  • Pre-arrival Zoom Session: Please check your student email for the Zoom link!

Time: 9 AM (Utah Time / Mountain Daylight Time, UTC-6)

Location: online

 

August 17, 2026

  • Airport Pickup: You have or will receive an email with a link to sign up for airport pickup.

Time: 10:00 AM; 2:00 PM; 6:00 PM

Location: From Salt Lake City Airport or nearby airport hotels to Ogden

 

August 18, 2026

  • Orientation Session 1: Free Lunch, Campus Resources and International Student Insurance (Mandatory for new students).

Time: 12:00 - 3:30 PM

Location: Shepherd Union 321

 

August 19, 2026

  • Math and English Placement Tests: if needed or if you would like to place into higher-level classes. Lunch coupons are available for anyone who comes to test, and raffles are available for students taking the math test.

Time: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

August 20, 2026

  • Orientation Session 2: Immigration session, Campus Safety Education and Lunch (Mandatory for new students).

Time: 9:45 - 11:45 AM

  • Academic Advising & Bowl and Enroll

New Student Checklist upon Arriving to WSU

Contact Your College/Department to help you Register for Classes

  • Use the Find My Advisor resource.
  • All degree-seeking international students will need ACT, SAT, or Accuplacer scores for English placement. Without that, students will be placed in ENGL 0900. 
  • All degree-seeking international students will need ACT, SAT, or ALEKS placement scores for Math placement. Without that, students will be placed in MATH 0950.

If you are transferring from another U.S. college or university:

Please ensure that your SEVIS record is already transferred to Weber State University, prior to the start of classes.

Attend the MANDATORY international student orientation.

Please bring digital copies of your passport & visa and I-20 or DS-2019. (If you have dependents on the F2 or J2 visa, please prepare their documents as well). You will need these to fill out the online check-in form.

Get your Student ID
(Wildcat Card)
& UTA pass.

Please visit Wildcard Services.

 
 
Pay Tuition & Fees

Tuition is normally due the Friday before classes begin. We support International wire transfers.
