International Student Orientation
On-Campus Orientation Dates
Spring 2026 Orientation
All students are required to be present for various mandatory orientation activities on January 3.
SCHEDULE
January 2, 2026
- 10am, 2pm, 6pm - Airport Pickup. You have or will receive an email with a link to sign up for airport pickup.
- 3:00-5:00 pm - Academic Advising. Shepherd Union 316. Students should complete the placement test and academic advising online before they arrive. However, we will still offer an in-person Academic Advising session as well.
January 3, 2026 (All in Elizabeth Hall 229 unless otherwise noted)
- 10:00 am - 12:00 pm - General Advising. Shepherd Union.
- 11:30 am - 12:30 pm - Lunch & Check-In
- 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm - Welcome & Introduction
- 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm - SEVIS Orientation (MANDATORY!)
- 2:00 pm - 2:30 pm - Campus Safety
- 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm - Intro to eWeber and Canvas

Contact Your College/Department to help you Register for Classes
- Use the Find My Advisor resource.
- All degree-seeking international students will need ACT, SAT, or Accuplacer scores for English placement. Without that, students will be placed in ENGL 0900.
- All degree-seeking international students will need ACT, SAT, or ALEKS placement scores for Math placement. Without that, students will be placed in MATH 0950.
If you are transferring from another U.S. college or university:
Please ensure that your SEVIS record is already transferred to Weber State University, prior to the start of classes.
Attend the MANDATORY international student orientation.
Please bring digital copies of your passport & visa and I-20 or DS-2019. (If you have dependents on the F2 or J2 visa, please prepare their documents as well). You will need these to fill out the online check-in form.
Pay Tuition & Fees
Tuition is normally due the Friday before classes begin. We support International wire transfers.
