International Student Health Insurance

International students who are enrolled in classes are automatically enrolled in the Weber State University international student health insurance plan through Cigna Global, brought to by Academic Health Plans.  The plan uses the Cigna Open Access PPO network of providers, per the official PPM. Health insurance is required for all international students and scholars in an F or J visa category.

How To Access Your Insurance

You will receive a Welcome email from Cigna 7-10 after enrollment is complete.  The Welcome email will contain your Cigna ID card. Please visit www.cignaenvoy.com to create an account for easy access to your ID card, the provider directory and to view your processed claims. 

Carry your ID card with you at all times! You will need your card when you visit the doctor’s office, urgent care, or hospital.

Visit weber.myahpcare.com to enroll your dependents online with a credit card. Your dependents (spouse, domestic partner, or children under the age of 26) must be enrolled before the start of the term or within 31 days of marriage, birth, adoption, or arrival in the U.S.
