Building Puentes
Weber State University’s Building Puentes program is designed to graduate career-ready, English-Spanish bilingual professionals in northern Utah. The Building Puentes program will offer certificate and degree programs through classes taught entirely in Spanish — like our Entrepreneurship certificate — or bilingually — like our upcoming computing science program. In support of non-English speaking students, specifically Spanish-speaking students, Building Puentes will offer ESL courses at varying levels to assist them throughout their education.
The program will offer courses designed to build on each other so that a certificate could count toward an associate’s degree, which could then count toward a bachelor’s degree.
