Hats Off to Our Resilient Students

When COVID-19 began making headlines, few could have predicted the extent of the impact it would have.  For many of our students, the learning experience had to change drastically.  For the fall 2020 semester, under the university’s advisement, we moved our on-campus courses to a virtual setting.  Students now meet synchronously via Zoom twice a week for two to three hours at a time.

Despite dramatic changes to their work and home lives, our students haven’t let COVID-19 stop their educational pursuits. They have demonstrated incredible resilience through this experience. We have been extremely impressed with our students’ adaptability and flexibility as they’ve made many transitions during this time. In the ever-changing world of healthcare, these students — with their willingness, flexibility, and gumption — will be a great asset to any future employer.
