Every year WSU provides more than $6 million in scholarships to new, continuing and transfer students. Like grants, these scholarships need not be paid back.

The Scholarship program at WSU serves students throughout their college career.  There are academic, activity, departmental, private sponsored, non-resident and graduate scholarships available.  In addition, there are need-based programs, called "special condition" or "sponsor awards."

As a new student, your completed admission application automatically qualifies you for consideration for all available WSU scholarships - no other application is necessary.  Continuing WSU students need to update their personal information each year to be considered for all available scholarships.
