Zoology Degree Programs

Our programs will not only teach you what you need to know in order to compete in today's job market, they'll also help you pinpoint the industries and careers that best match your interests.

Although our majors pursue several tracks, many are involved in pre-medical professional training. We have an excellent record of placing students in the finest medical, dental, veterinary, and physical therapy programs. The faculty strongly encourages majors to pursue guided research, particularly through the department’s thesis program.

All students are urged to consult with the department early in their education. Arrangements can then be made for the student to be matched with an appropriate advisor who can offer schedule and career suggestions. New majors, please contact Dr. Ron Meyers with any questions you may have about your selected Zoology program.

Although we offer a few courses online, the Zoology Degree Program cannot be completed online.

Popular Zoology Career Course Paths

Review PDF advising documents noting course elective selections for the popular career paths zoology majors select. All students should discuss course selections with their department advisor early and often in their education.
