Your Zoology degree can be the first step toward a rewarding career as a dentist! To practice dentistry, one must earn a D. D. S. or D. M. D. degree from an accredited training program after graduating from Weber State.

If you're interested in being a doctor, you can use your Zoology degree as a stepping stone toward practicing medicine.
The practice of medicine requires an M.D. or a D. O. degree from an accredited training program, as well as completion of a 3-6 year medical residency program, after graduating from Weber State. Details about pre-medical training can be found here.
As in medicine and dentistry, specialized training that leads to earning a D. M. V. degree is required after graduating from Weber State.

Wildlife and fishery biologists study all aspects of animal life that relate to management and conservation of natural resources.
