The COVID-19 pandemic led to academic disruptions in Spring 2020, Summer 2020, Fall 2020, and Spring 2021 semesters.
Students earn the Interstate Passport through the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) by completing WSU’s General Education requirements with a C or better. Students who transfer to another WICHE institution with the completed Passport will be recognized as having completed their General Education requirements at the transfer institution.
Academic renewal is an academic forgiveness policy that allows students to request that their WSU GPA be recalculated to exclude low grades earned at least 6 years ago.
Students who fall below the 2.00 cumulative WSU GPA required for good academic standing are placed on Academic Warning, Probation, or Suspension.
