Current Intern & Job Opportunities - On Campus

  • Student Climate and Energy Coordinator for the Sustainability Practices and Research Center (SPARC)
    • The coordinator will help support the SPARC team’s community outreach and engagement efforts that promote climate action, clean energy, and sustainable living practices—particularly within low-income and disadvantaged communities (LIDACs). This includes community event planning and implementation, coordinating workshops, supporting community energy and water saving upgrades, promoting climate-friendly practices, and building partnerships with public, private, and nonprofit organizations. This position will primarily be focused on facilitating local and regional community outreach, helping to achieve statewide goals to reduce emissions. This position may help to develop both print and online outreach materials.
  • Sustainability Outreach Coordinator for the Energy and Sustainability Office
    • Manage and lead WSU's Environmental Ambassadors Program and coordinate with other associated clubs to promote a culture of sustainability on campus and help advance WSU's sustainability goals.
  • Environmental Compliance Intern for the Energy and Sustainability Office
    • Assist with water conservation initiatives, ensure compliance with drinking water and stormwater regulations, and support other sustainability efforts at WSU.
  • High Impact Educational Experiences (HIEEs) for Weber State University
    • Under the HIEEs Pay program, students can earn money while also preparing for future opportunities after graduation.
