Empower N. UT Community Program

Weber State University’s sustainability team and partners empowered Northern Utah residents, providing over 5,000 LEDs to cut utility costs, and reduce pollution.

The progam concluded ahead of schedule due to the high demand for bulbs. If you would like to be informed of future community programs and Weber State sustainability news, sign up for updates. Over 465 community members exchanged 5,500 incandescent and CFL bulbs for new, energy-efficient LED light bulbs, at no-cost. Collectively this will reduce utility costs by nearly $35,000.
