Improve the world by creating something to help those in need.

What's been your favorite class so far?

Thermal Physics, because it has challenged me the most, to think about many abstract yet fundamental topics.

As an applied physics major and mathematics minor, Michael Shaw wishes more people knew about how accessible science is."Science isn't as hard as they think, if they are willing to allow their mind to enter into the realm which may seem unfamiliar. It's like a real life version of a fantasy book, but one that can be applied."
